Dr. Fatouh Haikal is a researcher of political and strategic affairs with more than 20 years of experience across many research centers in the Middle East. His areas of interest include Gulf security, extremism, terrorism, and Arab and regional affairs.
Dr. Fatouh has published several books and studies including one dealing with the international efforts to fight terrorism and its implications on national sovereignty, published by the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research in 2014.
In October 2005, he co-authored a book on civil society in GCC countries, which was published by the Gulf Center for Strategic Studies and Research. Many of his studies and articles have been published in various periodicals and websites.
